Our major assemblies include Gemcor automated fastener machines and multiple different sealing processes. Center Industries is an aerospace supplier that produces the window belt assembly for all Boeing 737 models utilizing 5 axis Gemcor automated fastening machines.
These machines are CNC controlled providing precision placement of approximately 1,500 fastener locations per assembly by drilling close tolerance holes, countersinking, and installing the required fastener at every location. This is followed by QA verification of each fastener. In order for the aircraft cabin to hold pressurization, every component of the assembly undergoes multiple types of sealing processes to ensure it will be air tight.
